System Security Engineer - Metaverse Project

As System Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Company-owned technologies are highly secured in access and resistant to hacking, attacks, or other threats which would compromise the security or integrity of the platform.
Requirements:

• Develop and communicate security patterns. Work with other engineering teams to align with our security strategy.
• Implement, operate, and reinforce security tooling, services, policies, and patterns to uplift corporate overall security.
• Uphold security and influence technology stakeholders in its adoption.
• Have a security industry perspective, evaluating or piloting emerging technologies, threat mitigation, and how external products and services can be used and integrated.
• Access and mitigate vulnerabilities across our environments and ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
• Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement

Qualifications:

• Is a passionate engineer with a vested interest and a love of learning security
• Experience of AWS infrastructure, or demonstrate examples of how they are working towards obtaining it
• Experience in administrating and integrating a variety of SaaS-based systems (such as Microsoft 365, Okta, Zoom) into a corporate environment, or demonstrate examples of how they are working towards integrating it
• Is comfortable working with Windows/Linux and open source tools
• Has knowledge of security in a continuous delivery environment
• It’s important you can drive the security practice and promote the best practice to the product delivery team
• If you can code or script (PowerShell/ bash/ python) is a bonus
