Seeking a very knowledgeable Educational Leader & Room Leader for the preschool room in a beautiful centre in North Sydney.
As an Educational Leader & Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a team of educators while ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs and experiences for children in the preschool room.This childcare centre located in North Sydney is privately owned and provides care for children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators in the delivery of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote children's holistic development across all developmental domains.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and the community, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor children's progress and identify areas for growth and development.
- Stay abreast of current research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education, and integrate new knowledge into practice.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Food handling certificate
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
