How will I help?

Sitting within the Pricing Analytics & Integration team of the CTB Product & Pricing, this role is responsible for maintaining the data sourcing and its integrity of the pricing matrix for pricing engine module within the Customer Pricing Platform (CPP), continuously enhancing the pricing engine process to service customers through Deposit Rate Finder, and notwithstanding, supporting the wider groups to understand their business requirements and reporting needs; which will result in better improved pricing offer.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintenance of pricing system in the Customer Pricing Platform which comprise of product pricing DataMart, containing contains financial and non-financial attributes.
  • Define new business procedures, evaluate resource requirements, and stimulate implementation of pricing change.
  • Maintain and update regularly pricing history database in the pricing engine.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy cost as well as related financial information.
  • Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.
  • Owning the technical solution, working on files for different remediation purposes as well as exploring data elements and impact to each.
  • Maintain an expert knowledge of the data contained in Data Warehouse (SGDW, WGDW & EDW)
  • Enrich collected data and turn it into insightful information.
  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc analytics support for a range of stakeholders as required, providing unique actionable insights on strategic and tactical business and productivity initiatives.
  • Actively manage relationships with various stakeholders and promote a data driven decision making culture aligning to business priorities.
  • Present actionable recommendations to the Business, in person or via self-designed/developed dashboards or tools.
  • Collaborate with other analytics teams within WBC group to drive effective and consistent use of data/insights.

What do I need?

  • Degree in related disciplines such as Computing, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance.
  • Sound quantitative and financial modelling skills with proven commercial experience.
  • Proven experience in working within complex data environment to drive actionable insights and commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and influencing stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Ability to translate technical information/data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong SQL Skills (Teradata and MS SQL Server), as well as working in a large enterprise data warehouse environment & excellent Python knowledge.
  • Data visualisation with Power BI, Tableau & Microsoft VBA.
  • Github/Bitbucket for code management.
  • Automation of process with Control-M and task scheduler.
