About Right at Home Southern NSW
We currently have positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Workers to join our team in Narrandera and surrounding areas including Leeton. It is preferred that you are an experienced Aged Care Worker or Disability Support Worker. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship and support
- Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
- Preparing food, feeding clients and administering medications if needed
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
- Responding to emergency situations

Morning shifts (may change with changing client needs)
- Monday-Fri 7am-9.00am
- Weekend shifts 7am-9.00am
Criteria:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Comprehensive insurance (desirable)
Mandatory Requirements:
- National Police Check
- NSW Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- 3 COVID19 Vaccinations
