We are searching for a passionate, experienced retail sales casual team member to join our Escape 2 Rossignol Thredbo store
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Escape 2 Rossignol Store provides a range of high-quality skiing and outdoor clothing, footwear and accessories. The brand’s sports heritage and contemporary style merge in a rich and unique customer experience in our Thredbo boutique where we host a hand-selected assortment of the apparel collections. Customers can browse everything from skiwear to urban wear, footwear and accessories, as well as a premium selection of technical equipment from the Rossignol Brand.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a casual team member of Escape 2 Rossignol Thredbo, you will be responsible for providing our customers with exceptional service by meeting their individual needs and expectations. You will drive sales via inspiration and product knowledge, while delivering high quality merchandising standards that will make our customers come back time and time again.
The successful applicant will be friendly, well-groomed, honest and competent working alone. Phoenix Leisure Group will happily provide comprehensive training in each product line however a strong knowledge of the Rossignol brand would be an asset.
NOTE:
The role is for 5th June until 30th September 2024, situated in the Thredbo Village in the NSW Snowfields. The successful candidates will need to supply their own transport and accommodation. Seasonal accommodation is located in the local town of Jindabyne which is approximately 40 minutes away.
Availability should be between 3-5 days a week and include weekends and penalty rates on top of base pay.
SKILLS/JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Create relationships with every guest to create excitement and fun around the Rossignol brand and exceed customers’ expectations
- Merchandising store for sales growth
- Passion for our products and thirst for product knowledge
- Love of skiing
- Operating in a safe workplace
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly store sales goals
- Ability to discuss with customers and give advice on general trends in the fashion world and developments in the luxury market, showing passion for fashion and outdoor products
- Maintain security standards within the store to ensure safety of customers, colleagues and merchandise
- Responsible for inventory management including receiving, processing, restocking + de-stocking
- Follow all company policies and procedures. A passion for customer service and delivering an exceptional guest experience
- 1 year of retail/fashion experience or similar customer service experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to different customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
