The Company
Our client is a long-standing renowned Australian manufacturer and distributor of industrial electrical cables.
They are seeking experienced machine operators to join their ever-growing business operations.
These are excellent permanent opportunities for self-motivated & dedicated individuals to join a great team that takes care of their staff.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assembling cable reels
- Use of basic hand and power tools
- Packing of orders - RF scanning
- Palletising orders - strapping and shrink-wrapping pallets
- Machine operating - cutting runs of cable to customer's requirements
- Adhere to all company OH&S policies and procedures
The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
- Previous warehouse & assembly experience
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Machine operating experience an advantage - training will be provided
- The ability to multitask and must be self-motivated
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proactive, reliable, and committed
- Obtain a national police check will be required
Hours and Rate
Monday to Friday – Flexible hours between 6am and 4:30pm
$30+ per hour depending on skills and experience
The company offers a profit share scheme to all full-time staff who have passed their 6-month probationary period.
