About the role:
JBS are seeking applications for the position of Fitter for full-time night shift in Brooklyn. We are seeking a skilled and energetic individual who is committed to providing an effective professional service and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances
- The implementation of preventative maintenance.
About you:
- Have a fitter and turner trade qualification and post-trade experience of at least 2 years, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Available to work a Night Shift, Monday to Friday
- Understand work planning and scheduling procedures
- Be available for shift work where required
- Have reliable transport and license
- Have been Q fever vaccinated or willing to have Q fever vaccination.
