About the role
The Hospitality Team Leader will provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership for the delivery of Hospitality Services. The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of food regulations and standards, hospital grade cleaning standards, and be committed to providing excellence in customer service while upholding the values of Calvary.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the Hospitality Services Manager in maintaining the departmental HACCP Food Safety Program.
Manage and monitor the distribution, collection and cross referencing diets on menus to ensure every patient and boarder/carer has an appropriate meal.
Manage and monitor the delivery of cleaning services across the hospital to a very high standard
Completes all departmental specific competencies.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively.
Identify and respond promptly and courteously to the needs and expectations of internal & external customers.
About you
Previous experience in Hospitality industry
Previous experience in leading and/or supervision of staff
Sound knowledge of Food Standards and Regulations
Sound knowledge of Cleaning Standards and Regulations
Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service
Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement
Competent computer knowledge
Ability to create and support a team environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Sound time management skills
Ability to address complaints and grievances in a positive, professional and timely manner
