Description:
Seeking shift workers, aged from 20 to 50 years, to participate in a study investigating the relationship between work schedules, sleep timing, and the body clock. Participants will be reimbursed up to $1500 upon completion of the study.
The study involves:
- Screening for eligibility over the phone and in person.
- Up to 6 weeks of in-home sleep monitoring (using a watch, diary and light-pin), including short daily tasks
- 1 evening testing session, and
- 2 overnight stays at the Monash University BASE Facility sleep laboratory, with ~ 27 hours awake
Eligible participants will:
- Have no medical conditions, sleep disorders or mental health diagnoses
- Will not be taking any medications that affect sleep or circadian rhythms
- Works shift work
