KII is an established RTO with campuses located in Sydney and Melbourne heart of the CBD. Kingsford offers a wide range of VET and ELICOS courses to our international students. KII has a modern campus with a dynamic, inclusive and supportive team environment!
We are currently looking for ELICOS EVENING teachers passionate about English language and eager to make a real impact on ELICOS education. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in ELICOS or similar ESL programs, strong organizational and communication skills and will be able to independently plan their lessons in accordance with the curriculum, working well within deadlines to ensure that all class information and student progress is up to date. We welcome teachers who share our values and are passionate for cultural exchange and fostering student growth.
As a teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering lessons to international students
- Developing lesson plans
- Assessing student competency and providing feedback in a timely manner
- Maintaining all relevant student records and administration
- Contributing to content development
- Involvement in validation and moderation programs on a regular basis
- Undertaking professional development
- Attending regular staff meetings
Work arrangements:
· Contract
· Evening shifts: 4pm - 9:30pm
· 5 hours shift
· Monday to Thursday
· $50 - $55 an hour
The successful candidate must fulfil the following criteria:
- A recognised degree or diploma of at least three years full-time (or its part-time equivalent) in length and
- A recognised TESOL qualification that contains TESOL as a method; or
- A recognised degree in education (includes Bachelor of Education) with TESOL method
- Appropriate TESOL teaching experience or are formally mentored by a senior staff member with experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
