Description and Requirements Job Responsibilities:- Planning / executing event details to ensure cohesive results for Motorola’s image and brand identity at events.
- Negotiate with venues, event organizers, contractors, and hotels on agenda and cost proposals until contract completion
- Assist with sleeping room management, event registration, ordering food/beverage, AV, transportation logistics, special evening event planning for internal events
- Help manage outside creative agencies to execute launch events
- Direct the planning/execution of timelines and logistics for each event
- Create, maintain and execute event budget within the pre-approved expenditure allotments
- Manage multiple events at one time
- Virtual event experience (security, registrations, platform design, invitations)
- Assist with onsite activation for large corporate events
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors including restaurants, conference venues, caterers, florists, etc.
- Assess an event’s overall success and share findings with manager
- Partner with Motorola Global events team on to align on regional event planning
- Manage the hospitality inventory for recognition with employees and customers from the different partnerships.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Bachelors Degree
