About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Administrator to join our More Trains More Services project. This role will initially be based in our Surry Hills office, then transferred to our Parramatta Depot. This is a permanent, full-time position, predominately Monday – Friday, however there may be some ad hoc weekend work required.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for and required to provide administration support to the project team which will consist of duties such as, but not limited to:
- General commercial administration – processing material and plant goods received paperwork
- Assist and support the finance team (raising purchase requisitions for approval etc.)
- Assessment and processing of subcontractors and supplier payment claims
- Prepare and raise supplier purchase requisitions and orders in COINS
- Ensure progress invoices and claims are substantiated and submitted accurately and on time. Follow up on payments.
- Facilitating due diligence checks
About you
- You will have prior experience in an Administration role, and preferably have experience working within the construction industry
- You will be a self-starter who is able to demonstrate initiative
- You will have excellent Microsoft office skills
- Your prior experience working in a fast paced, demanding environment has given you a proactive and adaptable attitude
- You will possess an ability to exercise discretion and protect confidentiality whilst maintaining an approachable attitude
- A high attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your role
- Experience in COINS is preferred, however not mandatory
