This rapidly expanding boutique firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant who will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of a portfolio of clients.

Our client is a rapidly expanding boutique firm that works with high-end clients who take a holistic approach to understanding their clients’ circumstances and guides them to the right decisions to maximise their business growth. They work in compliance, corporate advisory & consulting, superannuation, cryptocurrency, NFT, deceased estates and restructuring.


The Opportunity
The Senior Accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements and tax returns and ensure deadlines are met consistently.

  • Attend to all client business needs through the provision of accounting, tax and business advisory services in a timely manner
  • Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements including management and annual reports
  • Perform complex tax research when required
  • Participate in tax planning and estimates for clients
  • Assume responsibility for assigned clients smooth flow of work
  • Supervise and review work of junior accountants
  • Identify technical issues within a file and provide possible solutions

About You
You will be process-driven, possess excellent client relationship management skills and be knowledgeable in complex financial and tax matters.

  • Degree qualified
  • CA/CPA completed
  • Solid taxation knowledge regarding various complex topics such as SMSF, Div 7a, FBT & structure advice for complex entities
  • Planning and organisation skills
  • Work autonomously and have strong time management
  • Problem analysis skills
  • Judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Supervisory skills
  • Detail oriented & ability to multi-task.
