About the Role:
This pub is seeking a talented Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence. The Sous Chef will play a key role in assisting with menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations. Working closely with the Head Chef, they will ensure efficient work flows, impeccable food quality, and adherence to food safety standards.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior line cook in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support kitchen staff in executing menu items to perfection
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
