This role offers a chance to develop a rewarding career within the talented Process & Commercialisation team. In this versatile role, you will work with varied products and intricate equipment. This is a high-engagement and collaborative role that will see you work with varied teams across the production site and business. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn and ambitious to develop.

The role is based at the Rocklea manufacturing site with significant production volumes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new paint products and technologies
  • Driving process & formulation improvements
  • Ensure existing products meet our quality and performance expectations
  • Provide technical advice to operations and customers
  • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce manufacturing cycle time and lower manufacturing costs while maintaining quality

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with paint products and technologies is preferable
  • Any previous formulation experience will be highly regarded
  • Degree in an area of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other STEM related field
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Complex problem-solving skills; ability to clearly identify root cause and implement solutions.
