Description:

We are seeking an experienced Builder/Concreter with Heavy Mobile Plant Operating experience to join our skilled ‘Small Structures’ team.

Working on a 2:1 Roster, across a diverse range of civil rural and regional QLD/NSW projects, you will bring a positive ‘can do attitude’ and be able to work collaboratively, with a safe approach to productivity. This role provides you with variety, new challenges and opportunities for growth.

The Role: You will use your trade qualification and experience/knowledge within the civil construction industry to:

Plan and carry out concreting tasks, including:
  1. Construct and assemble formwork;
  2. Pour and finish concrete slabs
  3. Pour and finish concrete tilt panels
  4. Finish concrete slip form structures
  • Operating heavy machinery in the setting out / stripping out process
  • Carry out maintenance on office and camp facilities
  • Be willing to learn and develop new skill sets used within the team.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • Trade Qualified;
  • Experience in operating heavy mobile plant machinery safely and effectively;
  • General Construction Induction (White) Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid Open, Unrestricted Driver’s Licence;
  • Experience with DIDO/FIFO rosters;
  • Demonstrated experience and general knowledge of the construction industry, civil engineering and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards; and
  • Compliance with all WHS safety practices and procedures.
