Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents for a diverse range of clients.
• Assist in the preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Income Tax Returns.
• Provide expert advice on accounting, taxation, and business structuring to clients.
• Collaborate with senior team members and clients to address complex financial challenges and develop tailored solutions.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of clients' unique financial needs and deliver exceptional service.
• Utilize your strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement in financial records and processes.
• Mentor and assist in the training of junior staff.

Requirements:

• Extensive Experience: Bring 3+ years of public accounting experience, ideally specializing in business services.
• Professional Qualification: While a CPA or CA qualification is preferred, it is not essential for the role.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a solid grasp of Australian accounting and taxation principles, along with proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
• Analytical Skills: Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relations.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
