Internal recruitment role managing all day to day recruitment for the business and additional headhunting for sales agents
About the roleWe are searching for an In-House Recruiter to join our People & Culture team to facilitate all the day-to-day recruitment for the business. Your focus will be on recruiting for the available roles within the business and building long-lasting relationships with both internal and external candidates.
360 recruitment process for available roles at Highland:
- Weekly writing & posting Job Ads via our recruitment system - JobAdder
- Daily shortlisting & screening of suitable applications
- Conducting telephone screens
- Scheduling interviews for all the interview rounds & liasing with managers on availability
- Gathering feedback from the interviewer and relaying to the candidate
- Keeping track of all successful and unsuccessful candidates and feedback within JobAdder
- Maintain a current job list in order of priority and regularly updating with notes, strong candidates and urgency of role
- Conducting reference checks and issuing police checks
- Issuing offers under instruction from the Head of People & Culture
- Working closely with the wider People & Culture team on handover of successful candidates
- Attending compulsory weekly meetings with the HR team to discuss pipeline
- Conducting cold & warm calls to potential Sales Agents/Property Management staff
- Scheduling 1:1 catch up's with potential talent to discuss opportunities
- Create and manage a contact list – identifying, qualifying & categorising a talent list:
- Market analysis and research of agents in local and surrounding agencies
- Diarising notes for further follow up & relationship development
- Must have experience in recruitment. Ideally running your own job pipeline idependently
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be a natural people person
- A strong ability to build and maintain relationships in short time frames
- Be highly organised with good time management skills
- The ability to confidently follow up people with calls or messages to keep candidates warm
- Understanding of how to meet and report on KPIs
- Enthusiasm for people, growth and development
