Organisation:Brightside Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic allied health and NDIS provider committed to enriching the lives of individuals across the lifespan, located in Blacktown and Penrith.
Role Overview:
- As an Occupational Therapist, you'll serve as an Independent Practitioner, delivering specialised clinical care to NDIS participants of diverse age groups and disabilities.
- Operate with autonomy and minimal supervision, conducting assessments, devising tailored intervention plans, executing service delivery, and contributing to program enhancements.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement customised interventions to address participants' diverse needs.
- Deliver services in homes, schools, and clinics, adapting to participant requirements.
- Contribute proactively to enhancing service delivery methodologies and measurable outcomes.
- Participate in educational initiatives, providing clinical insights while upholding strict confidentiality standards.
- Genuine passion for providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities.
- Demonstrated reliability and integrity.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, both autonomously and as part of a cohesive team.
- Strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality protocols.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s Licence.
- Clearance of Working with Children Check, National Criminal Record Clearance, or valid NDISWC.
- Registration with accredited governing body (e.g., APHRA/ARTA/SPA).
- Completion of relevant university degree.
- Maintain a clinical caseload: Ensure a minimum of 85% billable hours within 12 weeks of orientation. Promptly notify supervisor of any under-billable hours for necessary adjustments.
- Maintain strong customer engagement: Progress towards participant goals aligned with NDIS plans. Uphold evidence-based practice and continuity of care. Minimise cancellations.
- Support Therapy Care’s management: Demonstrate flexibility in roster adjustments. Willingly work across diverse locations (clinic, community, etc.) as required.
- Administration: Complete all administrative tasks accurately and within set timeframes. Maintain clear documentation of administrative duties.
- Learning & growing: Actively participate in annual performance reviews. Attend supervision sessions as requested. Complete prescribed or approved professional development activities. Engage in all provided training sessions and additional development opportunities.
