WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGAs the Communications and Marketing Advisor,* you will support the Community Engagement Manager to develop and deliver marketing strategies aligned with Coal LSL (CLSL) brand.
You will:
- partner with internal stakeholders to plan, design and deliver targeted external communications and collateral across different channels
- provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on best practice marketing strategies
- review and improve marketing collateral including brand templates
- manage external engagement and marketing communication campaigns across a variety of channels, e.g. brand, print, video, reports, web, social media, EDM, online services
- support the ongoing maintenance of digital channels
- manage external agencies and suppliers to develop and deliver external communications and collateral
- maintain stakeholder databases to facilitate engagement and communication activities
- lead communication activities throughout the organisation.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
To be successful in the role of Senior Community Engagement Advisor, you will be an exceptional communicator with an ability to translate complex concepts to a target audience via a range of mediums. You will be a dedicated and outcome focused individual with a positive and resilient approach.
Your background will demonstrate your:
- extensive experience in a communications role, with a proven ability to develop and deliver communications and engagement strategies, initiatives and programs
- advanced project and campaign management abilities, combined with experience delivering digital enablement initiatives
- ability to build strong relationships and influence to deliver initiatives
- passion for providing creative and fit for purpose content with a strong results orientation
- exceptional writing ability with a clear, minimalist style for cut through
- proficiency in copy writing
- capacity to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlines
- capability to provide a positive stakeholder experience in an environment of change
- ability to adapt writing across different channels and objectives.
You will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent. Ideally, you will be working towards or have completed relevant post-graduate qualifications e.g. Community Engagement Course IAP2.
A background in a Government or highly regulated environment would be highly regarded.
