Position available
Section Waiter and Sommelier/Wine waiter
Pay is $30.10 to $45.82 per hour (depending on day of the week and experience level) + TIPS
What this role involves
The principle responsibility of this role is to oversee and ensure all are provided with the highest of service standards at all times. This service begins with the initial welcome, through the entire sequence of service and concludes once all guests have been farewelled. This position requires an employee to take direction from management, work in a professional and fast paced environment and communicate well with all guests and fellow employees.
  • Thorough understanding of all available food and beverage menu items.
  • Thorough understanding of the order or service, and execution in a timely and accurate manner to achieve superior service delivery.
  • Delivery of exceptional and professional guest service, ensuring all guests receive the high standard of service required, at all times.
  • Ability to manage a given section during service periods.
What we are looking for
Experience in this role working in a quality establishment
Strong knowledge of food, beverages
WSET Level 1 or above highly regarded
Excellent customer service skills|
Good communication and organizational skills along with sound decision making
Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
Hold a valid RSA
Have full Australian working rights
Available to work nights and weekends
