Industrial Electrician required in Broadmeadow on a permanent basis
Workfast are working on behalf of an industry leading tier 1 Engineering business who are based across Australia.They are looking to employ Industrial Electricians on a full time basis for a depot based close to the Newcastle area.

- Must be trade qualified as an electrician
- Team player with an ability to follow instructions
- Sound verbal skills
- Experience in working within the electrical industry on manufacturing and project based environments, preferable within the mining or rail sector
- Excellent at focusing on fault-finding and problem-solving, with the ability to troubleshoot and rectify problems within industrial electrical equipment
- Ability to build electrical control panels and be familiar with variable speed drives, contractors, relays and PLC connections.
- Have basic hand tools and power tools to carry out day to day duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
