The Role:We are seeking a skilled Analyst to join a busy government department for a contract opportunity providing support on services, processes and information needs. Your insights will drive business improvements and contribute to the success of our programs and projects.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide accurate and high-quality recurring reporting deliverables and ad-hoc reporting requirements to inform decisions.
- Develop and maintain information systems used to gather cost, time, and performance data on programs and projects.
- Define reporting strategies and contribute to reporting solutions for business strategy and decision-makers.
- Interpret trends, problem areas, and opportunities from financial and other business systems data.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of program and project data and audit feed-in data to maintain system integrity.
- Manage stakeholder expectations regarding requirements gathering, report design, testing, and deployment.
- Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors to deliver organizational outcomes for customers, people, and communities.
You will be a skilled Analyst with an appropriate qualification in ICT, Commerce or similar, with a proven history of delivering high value outcomes for a range of stakeholders. You will be self-directing and flexible with a strong commitment to service and capable of providing solutions to complex issues.
This role will be offered initially as a contract position with a view to start immediately.
