How will I help?

We're looking for an Executive Manager to lead our Hindsight team, a critical role responsible for overseeing the management and oversight of credit decisions within authorised Credit Authority Limits (CAL). In this role, you'll be at the heart of our Hindsight activity, ensuring it aligns with our Hindsight framework and supports continuous improvement in the quality of credit decisioning.

You'll lead a dynamic team of eight professionals, focusing on monitoring adherence to approved CALs, the quality of analysis and risk assessment, and compliance with relevant regulations and legislation. You'll provide feedback and coaching to ensure our credit evaluation standards are top-notch, and you'll be responsible for regular reporting to senior management on identified problems and root causes.

Your leadership skills will be crucial as you recruit, lead, and coach our credit risk professionals to execute the Hindsight program effectively. You'll work closely with other 2nd line risk teams and Group Audit to coordinate Credit Hindsight activity, avoid duplication, and foster collaboration.

What do I need?

You'll bring 10+ years' experience in risk management and people leadership within the financial services industry. With hands on decisioning experience you'll have a deep understanding of Credit Risk, including regulatory frameworks and industry best practices. Your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will be essential as you work with both internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.

You'll need to be a self-directed leader with a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for better ways to monitor and manage Conduct Risk. Your ethical leadership and ability to set high standards will promote a culture of compliance and integrity throughout the organisation.
