The role
Are you a seasoned professional in logistics development and project management? Are you ready to take the lead in identifying and executing exceptional opportunities in the logistics sector? If so, we have an exciting role for you!
We are seeking a Senior Development Manager who can take the lead in shaping the future of our logistics developments.
What you will be doing
- Identifying opportunities, risks and barriers to creation and delivery of opportunities.
- Preparing funding requirements to progress opportunities.
- Developing strategies to maximise returns and minimise risks.
- Managing feasibility studies and business case assessments.
- Planning, supervising and managing project budgets, costs, claims and payments.
- Representing our company with Councils, authorities and the Land Owners Group and obtaining all necessary authority approvals.
- Engaging and managing all consultants, tendering and negotiating D&C contracts with builders and earthworks contractors.
- Ongoing active project supervision.
What makes you stand out
We are looking for an individual with a good mix of educational and hands-on experience. The ability to juggle multiple tasks, negotiate deals and work both independently and collaboratively will be crucial to your success in this role.
Problem-solving skills and strong communication will definitely stand you in good stead as you develop relationships both internally and externally.
We are also looking for you to have demonstrable experience in project or construction management, lease negotiation, design management, development feasibility and spreadsheet modelling.
