We seek a Solutions Consultant to join our Sales Solutions team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a financial advice business, using financial technology as part of their working day or will have come from a financial technology provider.

Your Role:

Your role will be to deliver high quality and engaging demonstrations of intelliflo's technology to potential customers. You will be adept at describing our feature rich tools in a technical manner but equally capable of explaining these in a simple way which is easy for potential customers to understand. You will also be comfortable in taking that technical knowledge and contextualizing it, explaining how our technology meets the needs of potential customers and their clients. Working with potential customers all the way up to C-Suite level will be second nature to you.

You will be responsible for not only maintaining and developing your own knowledge but also that of your Sales Team colleagues. They will depend on you to not only be the subject matter expert on current functionality but also upcoming releases and how they will meet the needs of future customers. To achieve that you will proactively liaise with other internal teams such as Sales, Onboarding, Customer Services and Product. You will also be required to conduct your own research, unprompted, using a wide range of materials and resources available to you.

You will have the capacity to learn technical information at a deep and broad level. And have a curious nature, wanting to understand the outcomes that a potential customer wishes to achieve. Combining both of these aspects will allow you to come up with creative solutions which demonstrate how our technology will meet the needs of our potential customers.

Our ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, very well organized with a deep understanding of the wealth management industry and the role that financial technology plays within it. The best candidates will already have experience in demonstrating CRM, practice management, client portal, rebalancing, trading and order management technologies.

What you will be responsible for:

  • You will work closely with global Sales Teams, supporting engagements with potential customers.
  • Demonstrate intelliflo's solutions and associated integrations in line with the requirements of potential customers. Present solutions to potential customers in the form of custom solution demonstrations and presentations (both in person and via web conference).
  • Prepare custom workshops to be presented within the existing suite of intelliflo solutions.
  • Where required deliver discovery and assessment workshops with potential customers, understanding their requirements and documenting their needs.
  • Identify solutions that address the needs of potential customers within intelliflo's solutions and document any limitations.
  • Consult with operational and technical intelliflo-wide colleagues to clarify intent, identify issues, and suggest a course for the potential customer.
  • Propose immediately available customer solutions and proposed future enhancements. Document these solutions for the customer's understanding where required.
  • Engage the Customer Project Managers; provide examples and flowcharts as needed.
  • Be actively involved in analysis, solution design, communication and implementation across all business channels where required.
  • Function as the technical point of contact for global Sales Teams.
  • Respond effectively to technical and process questions received via RFP/RFI's and serve as technical support during the sales cycle.
  • Ensure the best practice advice journey is continually reviewed and updated and supported across all Sales Teams.
  • Understand the full intelliflo customer journey, appreciate the key role Sales and Solutions play in that journey and be mindful of the impact we can make on others if we don't deliver on our responsibilities.
  • Engage with colleagues from the other teams in the Customer Journey such as Marketing, Project Management, Implementation and Customer Relationship. From time to time supporting those teams with different types of activities.

Skills & Experience you bring:

  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven pre-sales consulting or solutions engineering experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of integrated multi-channel technology solutions (Financial Services preferable).
  • Background in Web Based Services and their delivery and application to clients.
  • Must be IT literate and competent in Excel, Word and understand all Web Browser capabilities.

Knowledge required:

  • A strong understanding of SaaS models.
  • Financial Services Background and an understanding of the UK Financial Services marketplace.

Education required:

  • A Certificate or Diploma in Financial Planning is desirable.
