About the Project:

John Holland are delighted to have been selected to deliver the M7 - M12 Interchange, which includes widening the M7 between the M5 at Prestons and Richmond Rd at Oakhurst, and building a new interchange between the M7 and M12 and an upgrade to Elizabeth Drive to connect it to the M12.

With site construction activities having recently commenced, we are seeking a Senior Planner/Senior Planning Engineer to form part of the Planning and Project Controls function across the project. You will be assigned a significant portion of work, responsible for the following tasks

About the Role:

  • Implement planning strategies and audits / reviews for projects.
  • Ensure project planning activities are conducted in accordance with JH policies and procedures.
  • Ensure monitoring and reporting of Project Controls processes are successfully set-up and implemented on projects.
  • Highlight any issues that may impact the effective, efficient and professional planning resources and support to the project including implementing standard processes and reports.
  • Interface with project team, partners, clients, stakeholders, consultants, designers, vendors, subcontractors for management of the planning function in accordance with established procedures
  • Proactively lead a planning and controls culture across the project based on best practice and with a focus on risk management, cost control and SQE.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Previous experience in a planning role on infrastructure projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with project teams
