Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne and state-wide. Patient Food Services provides patient meals for all Austin Health campus’ as well as providing a patient meals service to Royal Women’s Hospital. Currently the Austin Health Patient Food Services Department is plating approximately 2700 cook/chill meals each day. Food Services has 138 staff

About the role

The specific role of a Menu Monitor is to Collect and process patient menu information and production requirements for the Food Services Department in the required allocated period.

About you

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:

  • Previous experience in Meal Management Systems in Health settings
  • Proven experience in menu related problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience working between staff groups at multiple sites
  • Ability to communicate and develop working relationships on all levels
  • Self motivated and outcome driven with ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills e.g. MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, exc
