They are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join their dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the organisation, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.


The Role

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in corporate accounting, demonstrating proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving organisation at the forefront of industry innovation. Your duties will include but not be limited to:-

• Oversee cash flow forecasts, profit and loss statements, budgets, and monthly variance analysis.
• Handle month-end accounting entries, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets in the general ledger.
• Supervise transactional accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and authorise bank payments, including suppliers and payroll.
• Manage month-end close procedures for the entire group.
• Communicate with key stakeholders and business partners, providing necessary information.
• Manage annual insurance renewals.
• Ensure timely lodgement of monthly BAS and payroll tax returns for the entire group.

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting and/or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA).
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience post qualification.
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including strong excel experience.
• You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong accuracy, and attention to detail.
• You will be able to work autonomously and part of a team.
