Chef required for a well-established Australian business “AMYOUN NOMINEES PTY LTD” trading as Italian Restaurant “CHAPELLI’S” located at 571 Chapel Street, South Yarra VIC 3141. Prospective applicants must have prior experience of working commercially as a chef in an Italian cuisine. Duties includes.
- Preparing various food items from the restaurant’s menu that includes vegetarian, no vegetarian and seafood dishes.
- Monitor the kitchen staff during the Pre-cooking preparations.
- Supervise the kitchen staff during all stages of food preparation.
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies.
- Plan rosters and train new staff
- Maintaining the standards of kitchen sanitation and enforcing hygiene regulations to all kitchen staff.

Applicants with formal qualifications (AQF Diploma of Hospitality) and 2 years of industry experience will be prioritised. Position is available full time, 38 hours/week but applicant must be available for 7 days a week and willing to work odd hours (Weekend, public holidays & late shifts).
