Our client is a successful Property Developer based in the heart of Sydney, developing properties in Sydney and overseas. Due to growth in the business, the Financial Accountant is looking for a part-time Bookkeeper to join them, 2 days a week.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, your duties will include;

• 
  Completing the billing of clients and collection and receipting of monies received
• Process accounts payable invoices into Xero and pay creditors thru EFT
• Assist with the resolution of client, customer, supplier issues with respect to accounts as and when required
• Reconciliation of both Creditor and Debtor Accounts using Excel on a monthly basis
• Get involved with the month-end requirements of journal and G/L reconciliations
• Complete filing and assist in maintaining the office for supplies and maintenance

What you'll need to succeed

Experience and skills required;

• 
  Experience working on Xero and Microsoft Office 365 would be highly desirable
• Ability to ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with a broad range of internal clients
• Working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
