Description:
We are seeking a motivated, and enthusiastic Education Support Officer to work with our teachers in assisting students that have a variety of individual learning needs. The applicant would need to have completed Cert III or Cert IV in School Based Education Support. The applicant would need to be open to working in a variety of levels of the school. This role is offered as Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9 - 2:30pm FTE 0.53 commencing Term 2 2024.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Working in partnership with classroom teachers to implement adjustments to learning for students
Keeping detailed and objective notes
Providing support for a student’s academic, behavioral and social learning
Maintaining a positive and welcoming approach to all aspects of school life
Learning and running our current intervention practices
Other responsibilities as required by the Principal.
