Horticultural Apprentice - Production Nursery
This is a role for a dynamic young person looking to start a rewarding job in the Green sector. An Apprenticeship involves paid study and Apprentices receive a dual qualifications of Nursery Professional & Horticulturist at the end of their 2 year Apprenticeship.
The Horticultural Apprentice role predominately includes:
- Nursery and Plant Maintenance
- Producing new plants - Propagation, Potting
- Plant Selection & Dispatch
- Studying Horticulture through TAFE & Project work

The work at our Production is very satisfying and good for the body and soul. Our Dural Nursery is surrounded by National Park. You will meet diverse range of Nurserymen, Horticulturists & Landscapers to guide you during your Apprenticeship to ensure that you graduate with strong skills and lots of career opportunities.
The role will suit someone who is reliable, punctual, professional, commited to learning and self improvement, able to follow instruction and enjoys the garden/outdoor environment.

Pay: $14.40 – $25.00 per hour
