Quarry Worker

We are seeking dedicated and organized Quarry Workers to join our team at Albion Park, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of fixed and mobile equipment, workshop, stores, and ancillary equipment. This is an afternoon shift position and comes with generous shift loading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain fixed plant physical assets and ancillary equipment in adequate technical condition in order to ensure the optimal standard of performance at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance while upholding Holcim SHE standards.
• Work to agreed tasks and activities as defined by the maintenance work plan.
• Report completed works and outstanding works to the maintenance supervisor to ensure efficient planning.
• Undertake regular servicing of mobile and fixed plant and ancillary assets in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
• Report required tools and parts to the maintenance supervisor as required in order to ensure adequate parts for timely repair and servicing.
• Report defective tools and equipment for repair/replacement.
• Participate in the establishment of work instructions for maintenance activities.
• Ensure a safe and efficient workplace through effective and regular housekeeping.
• Participate in opportunities to improve safety and efficiency of tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in heavy equipment maintenance or relevant trade is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
