About this opportunity

As an Occupational Therapist with the WA Country Health Service, you will plan, coordinate, and provide an Occupational Therapy service to a designated caseload of inpatient, outpatient and/or community clients. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to develop broad clinical and professional skills.

Further information about this position

This is an open-ended Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time/Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time/Part Time, and Casual appointments. This includes the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. The following must be noted:

  • The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regular basis.
  • Interviews may not be conducted as part of the process, but applicants may be contacted if additional information is required.
  • Referees will be contacted as part of the assessment process.
  • If you are successful to the pool, you will be considered for all suitable vacancies across hospitals and health services in the 7 WACHS regions for the duration of the pool without having to re-apply for each individual position. You will be able to indicate your regional preferences and availability for positions.
  • Appointments may be made from this pool until 19/08/2024 .

  3. The names and contact details of two (2) recent professional referees. It is preferable for one to be your current supervisor or manager.

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Provide evidence of their Australian citizenship or permanent residency to be considered for a permanent position in the WA public sector
  • Undertake criminal records screening and integrity checks; this may also include referees commenting on your integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour
