The role of Social Procurement Project Administrator entails providing direct support to the Project Manager in implementing the project's Social Procurement Commitment. Specifically, you will be responsible for achieving outcomes related to the following social procurement objectives:
  • Implementing Building Equality Policy and actions to support more women into construction.
  • Creating job opportunities for people facing barriers to employment, with a focus on youth empowerment.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and processes, including safety activities
  • Track and monitor Social Procurement Commitment Proposal implementation.
  • Implement Local Jobs First Policy
  • Review and report on key areas of Project Gender Equality Action Plan
  • Ensure compliance with Modern Slavery Policy and provide necessary details
  • Coordinate sub-contractor compliance reporting.
  • Timely reporting on Local Jobs First and Social Procurement Performance
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Relevant qualifications, preferably Cert IV in training and assessment, procurement, supply chain, commerce, or business administration.
  • Understanding of social procurement impacts and current policies, including Victoria’s Social Procurement Framework.
  • Experience in presentations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Energetic and passionate about social procurement.
  • Proactive in initiating and driving new initiatives, with influencing and motivational skills.
  • Capable of independent work and effective teamwork.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and willing to travel to various locations.
