The Role
There has never been a more exciting time to join our progressive and dynamic organisation. The Land Domain is seeking experienced and passionate Logistics Managers who are looking for a new challenge and to be part of a growing team.

As an EL1 Logistics Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team providing critical logistics planning, management, governance and assurance in the delivery and ongoing sustainment of state-of-the-art ADF capability.

As an executive leader, you will have autonomy and responsibility for engaging closely with stakeholders to resolve complex issues, responding to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve Defence outcomes. You will anticipate and manage priorities, working in partnership with industry contractors, to provide comprehensive and integrated logistics support to capability.

You will draw on your depth of logistics knowledge and experience to manage a wide range of logistics activities to ensure that the ADF has the necessary support to reliably operate and maintain their military equipment. Your work may focus on either acquisition or sustainment of capability, or span aspects across the entire life cycle.

Land Domain has a variety of logistics roles available and is able to offer successful applicants a position that best meets their preference, skills and future career potential.

About our Team
Land Domain is at the forefront of ADF capability development, ensuring our members have the latest equipment and technology to perform effectively and safely across a diverse range of duties. Our people work collaboratively on the development, delivery and sustainment of capability such as armoured and general transport vehicles, weapons systems, small arms, field equipment, personal protective equipment, surveillance equipment, and health systems.

We are dedicated to providing our staff with a healthy work-life environment, and support flexible working arrangements that may be tailored to meet individual needs.

We are committed to ongoing learning, and will invest in your training and development to ensure your work with us is deeply rewarding, both personally and professionally.

Land Domain aims to create a workplace culture that is inclusive and diverse, reflecting our modern Australian society.

Secure your next role with us as a Defence APS employee for generous employment benefits including 15.4% superannuation, paid parental leave and career focused learning and development opportunities.

Our workplace provides additional benefits, including free access to an onsite gymnasium, an onsite café, sporting competitions and a range of other wellbeing activities.

Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal person for this role will be an experienced and committed logistics professional who has the adaptability and flexibility required to respond to the needs of stakeholders.

As an executive leader, you will demonstrate initiative in making informed decisions and solve complex problems, using available resources to drive results, and adjusting priorities as the demand arises. You will also support and motivate your team to achieve strategic organisational objectives while continuing to pursue your own self-development goals.

You will be familiar with the use of logistics management software packages, and able to interpret data and exercise judgement to deliver effective outcomes. You will have excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, including strong emotional intelligence, resilience and adaptability.

Applicants are required to provide a single 600-word response addressing Your Role and Our Ideal Candidate attributes and provide concise examples of relevant experience, qualities and skills that you will bring to the role. This must be submitted in the Selection Criteria section of the application form within eRecruit, not via an attachment or cover letter.
