Telecommunications Labourer Team Leader - Expression Of Interest
FNE Communications has an exciting opportunity for a Labourer Team Leader interested in working within the Telecommunications industry.
We are seeking hard-working candidates who do have Telecommunications Network experience, and who can lead a small team. This role involves working outside during most of the day. It is physically challenging and will require someone who is physically and mentally strong. Most of the day you will be working in outside environments in the communication networks.
Work is mainly based in the Sydney Metropolitan area but could include both regional and interstate work. Due to the type of work being done it would involve working both day and night shifts.
Daily tasks consist of the following:
- Leading a small team (approx 4 staff)
- Reading and understanding network plans
- Planning and scheduling work
- Hauling optical fibre cables
- Manual handling awareness
- Problem solving
- Safety awareness
- Site Setup.
Successful candidates must possess the following qualities:

Essential Requirements:
- Construction White Card Mandatory
- National Police Check Mandatory
- Pre-employment Medical Check (incl. Drug & Alcohol test) Mandatory.
Pay rate is above the award rate and is dependent on previous experience.

- Telecommunication Labourer: 2 years (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Australian Drivers Licence (Required)
- White Card (Preferred)
- National Police Check (Preferred)
