Following exciting growth plans, we are looking for a Warehouse and Purchasing Officer to join our newly opened warehouse based in Western Sydney, Glendenning, NSW.
About the role:
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse and Purchasing Officer at Breathesafe will be the ongoing support and assistance to our installers which will consist of the following duties:
- Ordering stock
- Receiving stock
- Unloading containers
- Processing customer orders
- Picking, consolidating orders, dispatching orders
- Stock adjustment, warehouse maintenance and stock take.
- Forklift and reach stacker operation to pack and unpack stock from racking.
- Pickup and delivery of orders and kits in the metro area.
- Assembling filter containers
BreatheSafe Hours of Work
- 6.30am – 3.45pm Monday to Thursday
- 6.30am – 12.30pm Friday
- Every second Friday off (long weekend)
About you:
This great opportunity would ideally suit someone who has experience as a Storeperson/Warehouse Officer coupled with purchasing experience. We are after someone who is willing to come in, learn and grow with our ever-expanding team with the view of long-term career progression. The ideal candidate will have:
- Manual Drivers Licence
- Current Forklift Licence
- Experience with Sheetmetal fabrication (Not Essential)
- Mechanical/Fitter experience (Not Essential)
- Experience operating Heavy Machinery (Not Essential)
- Outstanding customer services skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience with inventory management software or similar
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and a quick learner
