The Company

As a well established agronomic consulting firm our client provides independent advice to farms throughout the Lachlan and Murrumbidgee valleys.

Their team is involved in providing management advice to irrigation and dryland clients, with activities including; agronomic advice to irrigated summer and winter dryland cropping, budgeting, strategic farm planning and farm management.

The Opportunity

A fresh position has become available for either an experienced crop consultant or a graduate agronomist to join the business in the Griffith/Hay/Hillston region of NSW.

With well embedded growers on their books YOU will take over an already established client base and have the opportunity to become a partner in the business in the future.

The role involves providing whole farm agronomic advice focused on irrigated cotton and dryland cereals and pulses, as well as, an opportunity to provide input on improved pasture-based grazing systems.

Positions requirements

• Tertiary Qualifications in an agricultural based discipline
• > 2 years’ experience in providing agronomic advice to farmers
• Specific experience in cotton production
• Ability to work independently, whilst enjoying a team environment
• Excellent communication and computer based skills
