City of Parramatta have an exciting permanent opportunity to join the Parks & Open Spaces team as the Operational Systems Coordinator.

About the role

As the Operational Systems Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating a comprehensive range of business processes and systems for the parks and open space operations team including the coordination of asset inspections, work programs, procurement and customer relationships and information management utilising Council’s software systems.

On a daily basis you will:

  • Monitor and maintain the teams work management system.
  • Support and collaborate with the leadership team and operational staff to:
    • Develop and integrate ongoing changes and updates to scheduled work programs.
    • Ensure best practices and identify issues with the use of Council’s electronic systems and mobility platforms.
  • Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to:
    • Maximise the effective delivery of the teams scheduled works program.
    • Troubleshoot and correct configuration faults and system failures.
  • Triage service requests to works management systems (Worx Online).

About You: We are seeking an individual with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Administrative Management, or relevant fields or a significant amount of comparable industry experience in a Business/ Administrative Management role.
  • Class ‘C’ Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated understanding of Local Government Operations preferably within parks and open space management.
  • Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Suite, Content Manager (or record management equivalent), Technology One, GIS and/or Pathway.
  • High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with effective time management and organisational capabilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement guidelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills combined with the ability to convey complex and technical information.

What’s on offer:
We are offering an attractive remuneration from $82,408 to $90,775 plus 11% superannuation.
