Position Title: Late Night Licensed Venue Manager

About the Role -

The Late Night Licensed Venue Manager will reports to the Venue Manager and will be responsible for Managing/coordinating and training licenced venue employees, Opening and Closing the licenced venue, Stock control and ordering for licenced venue, ensuring licenced venue employees serve customers in a professional and timely manner in all areas of the licenced venue, ensuring licenced venue compliance with relevant licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations, balancing cash registers and investigating discrepancies, department: Management

Job Responsibilities :

  • Opening and Closing the Licensed venue
  • Assist Venue Management with the day to day operations of the various departments of the Licensed venue
  • Manage licenced venue team members on a daily basis including preparation of rosters, training and development, customer service standards and performance management
  • Holding keys for the security of gaming & entertainment bar areas
  • Liaise with entertainers and technicians
  • Promoting and marketing the business
  • Management of inventory and ordering of stock for the licenced venue
  • Managing budgets and financial plans as well as controlling licenced venue expenditure
  • Delivering business results by achieving set targets KPI’s and objectives set by Senior Management
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Handling customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Leading and compiling the daily handover for the next Manager
  • Ensure all licenced venue team members create customer service delivery that is timely, effective, and efficiently meets licenced venue standards
  • Ensure that cash handling responsibilities are adhered to, all shift takings are recorded, and investigate variances and discrepancies as required
  • Communicate and implement policies and procedures to all employees’ to ensure operational and service standards are maintained
  • Conduct regular floor checks of all licenced venue areas to ensure licenced venue areas are clean and well maintained
  • Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested by the Employer
  • Customer Service:
  • Respond to customer requests/complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Offer assistance to licenced venue customers
  • Promote the Employer’s services and facilities to customers when appropriate
  • Make licenced venue customers feel welcome
  • Assist in maintaining customer service standards set by the Employer
  • Ensure the work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness and good order
  • Ensure that customers are served in a professional and diligent manner

Skills and Qualifications -

  • R Maintain current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
  • Maintain a current approved gaming manager’s license responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) qualification
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification and/or equivalent experience in licenced venue management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the operations of a licenced venue including supervising and coordinating staff
  • Very high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated high level ability to effectively manage customer complaints, negotiate with suppliers and managing staff

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

The Venue Assistant Manager will be reporting to the Venue Manager and he will be responsible for Managing/coordinating and training Hotel employees Opening and Closing the Hotel, Stock control and ordering for Hotel, Ensuring Hotel employees serve customers in a professional and timely manner in all areas of the Hotel, Ensuring Hotel compliance with relevant licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations, Balancing cash registers and investigating discrepancies
