We are seeking a product marketing specialist to implement end-to-end acquisition marketing campaigns for the Sub Hub product portfolio.

The person is proficient in digital and traditional media and familiar with web analytical tools and marketing performance measurement. This role involves significant amount of project and partner relationship management of both internal and external collaborators, requiring strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive efficient outcomes for all.

Your day in the life at Optus

  • Complete insight-led, creatively driven, outstanding marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with a significant number of internal/third party partners and our media agency and channel teams to plan, implement, and optimise the media mix for both offline & online channels.
  • Work with creative agency partners to develop compelling communications to drive a direct response & test various messages to develop creative insights for future performance.
  • Run media & production budgets at a campaign level, within overall product budget parameters. Assist in driving informed and granular optimisation of the Sub Hub acquisition marketing budget.
  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to analyse performance reports & derive insights which will further improve media and creative results.
  • Champion the product portfolio both within the marketing team and wider group, making sure all are aligned on marketing plans.


Your skills to pay the bills

  • Validated marketing experience within a similar role/ agency management experience
  • Media planning and creative briefing skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • Ability to deliver clear and compelling briefs to creative and media agencies
  • Strong partner management and negotiation skills, with natural gravitas
