- Hourly rate: $28.39 - $29.52 base plus additional shift allowances + Super
The role:
As a Companion, you will provide care to our customers living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life
- Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
Our location:
Queanbeyan, NSW is home to 130 residents, showcasing lovely spaces for residents to engage and a supportive team environment for our staff
To be successful you will need:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support (or similar)
- An empathy and commitment to the care of older people with a demonstrated commitment to meeting their needs
- 12 months+ experience in delivering high levels of exceptional customer service within the Aged Care industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Only application with the ability to work in our NSW location will be considered for this role. If your application is successful, you will commence to one of our three day On-boarding Programs.
