Description:
Our client, a leading Sydney-based company specializing in home furnishings and building materials, is currently seeking an experienced Operation Manager. This role is crucial in steering the company’s operations focusing on financial management, strategic development, and robust client and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Finance Management:
Oversee financial operations, including invoicing, forecasts, and managing creditors.
Assist in annual budget preparations and manage e-billing systems.
Represent the company in monthly financial reviews with the Senior Leadership Team.
- People Leadership & Development:
Lead staff development programs and manage team workflows in collaboration with the General Manager. Align staffing with organizational goals and budgets.
- Client Management:
Handle client onboarding, maintain continuous feedback, and manage due diligence processes.
• New Business & Strategic Focus:
Support new business initiatives, including development of presentations, publications, and proposals. Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and processes.
Identify potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships to expand business reach.
Assist in high-level strategic planning and provide advice based on industry and technology trends.
- Finance Governance & Risk:
Ensure compliance with budget allocations, manage business risks, and adhere to legal standards. Maintain compliance with the Law Society of New South Wales and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting, Business, Communications, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in professional services, ideally with exposure to finance, strategy, or legal roles.
- Proven ability to manage financial operations, develop strategic presentations, and oversee budget reports.
- Demonstrated skill in influencing, achieving consensus, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical skills and a focus on results-driven management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Holds a valid driver license with capability to drive to work.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin Speaking.
