The Role
The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting risk-based internal audit and consulting engagements of the Department’s systems, programs, processes and controls. They achieve this by developing and implementing audit scopes and work plans by analysing, visualising and testing data, clearly and concisely communicating results, and recommending value adding solutions to our stakeholders.
The position also monitors the implementation of allocated audit recommendations, supports the development of the Strategic Audit Plan, and provides advice to business units on matters to do with governance, risk and controls.

This position is based at our Fremantle headquarters located within King Square. It’s a great location close to the Fremantle Markets, various new cafes and eateries (click here to find out more), car parks and the Fremantle train station. The team also has the opportunity to work from our Boorloo (Perth) office occasionally with prior arrangement.
