We know that our success is the result of more than 4,000 talented people working together to achieve amazing outcomes.Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor , the motivated Field Service Plant Mechanic will be part of a busy field service team carrying out repairs, servicing, diagnosing and maintaining on our variety of caterpillar equipment, which includes D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders and a wide range of other equipment. This work will be completed in a collaborative environment with a strong focus on safety.
Location: Kalgoorlie
Roster: This role is open to being a FIFO or Residential position - 2/1, 2/2 or 12/9 FIFO, 9/5 or 8/6 Residential.
To be successful the following is required:
- Australian Recognised Mobile Plant Trade Qualification
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Heavy equipment product knowledge
- Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac's SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer
- Current MR license
- Field service experience diagnosing and servicing equipment
- Dogging & Basic Rigging (highly desirable but not essential)
Duties:
- Perform maintenance on a range of machinery
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Interpret machine data
- Implementation of systems upgrades
