Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled VDI Engineer with expertise in VMware Horizon to join our team. As a VDI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtual desktop infrastructure solutions to support our healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware Horizon VDI environments.
- Provide technical expertise in virtualization technologies to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate VDI solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard virtual desktop environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VDI-related issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regular system upgrades and maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a VDI Engineer, with a focus on VMware Horizon.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies.
- Proficiency in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
