About the role

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at our SKG Radiology Duncraig branch.

Our Duncraig branch delivers General X-ray, Dental/OPG, 2 CT scanners, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, MRI, Ultrasound, Doppler, FNA Biopsy, Facet Joint Injection, Lumbar Nerve Root Sleeve Injection and Interventional Radiology to a well-established base of patients and referrers.

As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be providing efficient and high quality imaging services to a loyal patient base at our SKG Duncraig branch.

This role is part time, working 60 hours per fortnight, currently worked as 7.5 hours per day Tuesday to Friday. Flexibility is key to be able to pick up additional hours to assist with leave coverage. Servicing the Glengarry Hospital, this role will also see you working on-call and weekends.

Role requirements

  • Hold a degree in Medical Imaging (or equivalent)
  • Be registered with AHPRA – Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
  • Hold a Radiation Safety Licence from the Radiological Council of WA
  • Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Display excellent communication and time management skills
  • Display a Patients First. attitude at all times
  • Be committed to their own professional development

Although not essential, CT and Mammography experience is desirable.

Please note that the successful candidate is required to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases prior to commencement of employment.
