ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking to engage a QLD based Remote Area Registered Nurse for our Mount Isa Mine Site on a Casual basis. This role will be to cover periods of sick leave, annual leave and ad hoc shifts. DUTIES
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of services including however not limited to:
- High level nursing skills to work autonomously
- Patient triage
- Administering vaccinations
- Monitoring & maintaining stock levels
- Compliance with the Department of Health & Human Services Protocols
- General administration duties
- Phlebotomy
- Current Immunisation Certificate - Desirable
- Providing on-site health and injury management services
- Emergency primary care of injured workers
- Drug & Alcohol testing, Lead level and hydration testing
- Immunisations
As the successful candidate you will hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with:
- Current First Aid Certification and CPR Certification
- Current Immunisation Certificate - Desirable
- Ongoing training and development
